The worst part of the Chauvin case is the damage it did to police moral and motivation across the nation.

That and the 2+ billion dollars worth of damage that was just swept away with minimal-to-no effort put into finding and prosecuting the subhuman pieces of shite who were responsible.

I agree.

And for the "he was kneeling on his neck" people, no one knows how much body weight he was putting on Floyd neck. The image of kneeling on someone's neck area looks bad but you can kneel on someone with only the amount of weight needed to subdue.

this is how and why a corrupt organization like BLM can exist and why billions in damage were done to public and private property over a false narrative.

It's amazing how effective brainwashing can be.

It’s a terrible strategy. Chauvin’s attorneys should have raised everything in the first appeal. “[O]nce a direct appeal has been taken, all claims that were raised in the direct appeal and all claims that were known or should have been known but were not raised will not be considered upon a subsequent petition for postconviction relief.” Munt v. State, 880 N.W.2d 379, 382 (Minn. 2016). There are a couple exceptions to that, but they’re very difficult to meet.

I'm not a lawyer but my instincts are the same as you posted, put it all in one basket- the impartial jury, the autopsy, the training manual the judge refused to allow into evidence, the perjury by witnesses, and force a court to not blink. Force a court to say "Nah, that's how our justice system works now".

30 years ago, if you can prove a witness perjured himself, that would be automatic grounds for appeal and the witness would go to jail. The justice system doesn't seem to give a shite about that anymore, unless it's a republican saying he doesn't remember something, then perjury becomes a thing.

Besides ignoring other races being killed by police you pick those two for your murdered example??? Can’t you say Tyre Nichols’ name?

Are you tired of living in a country where blacks and whites are straight up murdered every day by a black person hiding behind a race card and pants falling down?

Don’t think too hard about it. It really is that simple.

No one in this thread realizes the time it takes for orally ingested substances to reach the bloodstream.

I thought we were discussing items from autopsy.

Well yeah. But I think that’s what sparked the thread - the recent video that has brought into question the legitimacy of the trial and what was inadmissible.

The same jury that said Chauvin was guilty because he didn’t provide life support?

This is where I think Chauvins attorney screwed up. I would have brought in a male that’s the same age height weight everything as Floyd, and had Chauvin perform in court the same maneuver for the same time period he held his knee in place. The guy wasn’t going to die. Then have his attorney ask the jury if they will convict him of murder for something that actually shows would not kill someone without a lethal dose of drugs in his system.

Trayvon made it home, and went back out to jump George Zimmerman in an ambush. OOPS! One more dead thug.

Fentanyl Floyd the career thug? frick him. Cop should have gotten a public service award.
