That there's no way in hell it goes West of Laffy? Do you realize how much of a shift East that would take?

We are firmly in the windshield wiper wobble watch zone now where people start panicking over 5-10 mile shifts
That still takes a backseat to the Turn Watching Zone.

if a sharp turn is projected, a stall of a couple hours could shift landfall pretty drastically
eta: not a prediction

Eastern edge of the cone is still New Iberia east of Laffy so That route is still most certainly on the table. All a matter of minute changes in timing. Fat lady hasn’t sung yet

Are y'all wanting this thing to turn east? Other than I don't want LC to get hit again, I sure as hell don't want to deal with more impacts in BR with it shifting east.
Can we talk about it just falling apart? Maybe we can will that to happen.

I wonder why there isn’t much rain showing up on the Doppler with this storm?

Because falling apart is near a 100% impossibility whereas a hard hook east is still very possible. Take your emotions out of it.

I think too many people are under the misconception that those who talk about things and scenarios have any power at all over where a hurricane goes. It is what it is and it will suck regardless of where it lands.

There's an eye, unfortunately.

Because it isn’t close enough for any U.S. Doppler radars to pick up rain from it.
