Well, re-read his original post before anything else.
I don’t think he (nor I) are saying that black peoples get screwed left and right in modern times. We are talking about perception.
But you can’t just say this like history doesn’t have an impact on the way the current generation views things like this.

Perception is not reality
White and black people sometimes get screwed in our judiciary system today. Until we no longer allow people to blame ones race on the way they are treated from a systematic holistic approach we will never move forward

Well at the time many thought the OJ verdict was a victory for them as well.
I avoid like the plague anyone white, black, brown, and so on who first see and blame race for any negative interaction (or even just not 100% positive & friendly) between people of different races. People complain about people every day, disagree, & even argue, but god forbid one is black and one is white because racism will be the reason & posted all over social media forcing other media to cover it. It can never be about the individuals involved like their personality or the problems they might be having it has to first be due to racism until proven otherwise (and even that is overlooked when next issue comes up).
