I comprehend that way better than I comprehend my own consciousness. I am me. I am not you. Was I ever me before? Will I be me again? What is it like to not be me?

It's not. You are inside a universe that is finite but has no boundary, no edge. It is expanding - that is - the distances between everything inside that universe are increasing. In two dimensions it is easier to imagine. For example, the earth has a surface that is finite but has no edge.*
*Unless you are a flat earther, in which case, please disregard the above.

The size of the observable universe in miles or km or whatever is absolutely tiny compared to the number of ways you can arrange one deck of cards (52!). The number has 68 digits. That blows my mind.

Take the short cut. We are on a hunk of rock hurling through space and time. Surely there is a pocket protector wearing fricker that can find a short cut.

It's the space between objects that are not gravitationally bound that is expanding, the the universe itself is not expanding into anything.

Metric system didn’t put a man on the moon. Convert this to something we understand in the great US of A

I got you.
10 micrometers per second (about 0.000022 miles per hour).
40 trillion km (about 25 trillion miles, or 2.5 × 10¹³ miles)
8.8 x 10^23 km (about 5.5 × 10²³ miles, or 550 sextillion miles)

Thanks. Now I completely understand.

Well, given your line of work (sucking dick) at a going rate of $10 per dick sucked, you would need to suck 1 million dicks in total. If you averaged 78.28 per day it would take approximately 35.0 years to reach your goal for retirement.
What would it be IF he could give 2 hand jobs for $25 each and $100 for letting somebody have anal with him simultaneously to the sucking?
I also think a good suck we be worth more than $10.
At least $50.
So at $50(sucking) + $50(two handjobs) + $100 if could be more lucrative.
That’s $200 per cycle. Figure 10 cycles per day.
$14000 per week, two weeks vacation, 50 weeks a year is $700k.
So saving $350k per year would lead to $10 million with modest compounding probably in way less than 35 years.

Got this from OT post weeks ago…blew my mind.
Re size of galaxy.
If reading this, the period “.” is Earth in relative size to the following.
1 million Earths can fit into the sun.
The galaxy would be diameter of actual Earth.
Then came time. Dear Lord. Special relativity breaks my brain.
Earth rotates on its axis at 1000mph.
Earth rotates the sun at 67,000mph.
The sun rotates around the galaxy at 500,000mph.
Meanwhile, we argue about EBT cards, boomers and Tony Romo.

Its amazing to comprehend that it is mathematically highly unlikely a deck of cards has ever been shuffled into the same arrangement twice in the history of playing cards.

From our point of view, the universe is infinite because it's expanding faster than we could ever travel.

Yeah, tell that to that blackjack dealer who busted me last winter

I don’t post much, but I had to acknowledge this one. Well done sir! You have my upvote!

You could shuffle one deck of cards every second for trillions of years and never shuffle the same combination twice.

The Africans visited there 50,000 years ago.
When they got home. Whitey stole the technology and destroyed it.
