Come on, man. USC was a whole lot more than decent. USC won 34 straight games from 2003-05 and back to back AP national titles. Also had arguably the best team in 2008. But all top programs cheat. All of them. Every single one....

It was legitimate. The BCS was so stupid. USC was #1 in both polls in 2003. And in 2004 an undefeated SEC team was denied an opportunity to play for the bcs title. It was a terrible, terrible system....

Exactly. I am not a Clemson fan, but I am already sick of the Clemson bashing. They win ONE close game against UNC and all of a sudden they are tossed out. Anyone who thinks Clemson doesn't belong in the playoff is an idiot....

Completely false. Clemson has perhaps the best defense in the country and is in the midst of a dynasty. Are they not allowed to play one close game?...

The AP awards a trophy, too. LSU has the AP trophy for 2007. The split title in 2003 was actually a good thing, as it eventually led to a playoff. ...
