Comedy also doesn’t exist anymore thanks to the “progressive” left. Theres very few true comedians out here left. and I just named one

I'll never understand people like that, granted they are psychopaths, but why not just divorce and leave your family? Why is murdering all of them the point you arrive at?

this was maybe true eight years ago, but some of the most successful and popular comedians these days are actually fairly conservative (by comedian standards) and routinely push back agaisnt the woke left. where it was edgy and popular 30-40 years ago to be progressive, these days, the edge is being anti-woke.

He was vastly funnier when he was fat and coming up. He had less of an air about him.

Now him and Bert have become pretty insufferable. Bert is worse though. Biggest attention whore and least funny comedian ever IMO.

crazy accurate

This one actually bummed me out.

I love their show when they’re both on it.

What has this schtick ever gotten anyone? Internet clout?

I’m genuinely curious.

which is interesting because he sort of spearheaded a lot of the counter-woke comedy

Its unreal. He let her start getting into the same business, giving her power and more involvement. And this is what that gives you. Women simply arent designed to be in more powerful positions. shite falls apart when that happens, period.
No issues while being a housewife and mother.
work with her and give a position..divorce

Three pages and no mention of the "build a wall around Louisiana" joke.

at least Tom publicly addressed the elephant in the room of Garth Brooks' weirdness and potential serial killer status.

Same here. I don't think women are funny. I've seen a pretty good bit of live comedy and she is one of the few that has made me laugh.

I'm not sure it's schtick

It's a reaction to the culture expecting you to know, and often, have some sort of emotional reaction. It's frustrating to people. Sure, it's overdone and can be annoying, but I get it.

Podcast culture, alongside stuff like anime or kpop or comic books or other cultural moments I just completely missed - is like this for me. Some post gets made and shared a million times about a story like this, and you have a knee-jerk reaction to it. Some of it might be "missing out" but a lot of it is the discordance of feeling like the world around you is very in the weeds on very dumb stuff.

When’s the last time you saw a movie that’s was truly hilarious ? Used to be every summer comedians were putting out hit comedies. Last one I saw was the campaign in 2012. Comedy is nothing what is used to be. Idk how anyone can argue otherwise.

There are successful people like Shane Gillis yes but they most likely won’t get the opportunity to become bigger than just stand up comedians like will ferrell and Jim Carrey were able to, bc Hollywood won’t allow it. Todd Phillips said in an interview a few years ago how he refuses to write/direct anymore comedy films bc of the woke crowd on twitter. Dudes a genius when it comes to producing comedies.
