Also disagree with whoever said Theo's standup isn't funny. He is better off the cuff and being that random thought guy, but I have laughed a tremendous amounts of times at 30lb Bag of Hamster Bones and Musket Fire.

He seems like a guy who would be considered center/center left 20 years ago, but what was center/center left 20 years ago is center right/right in 2026. Like most successful comedians, he will joke about "uncomfortable" topics or things that aren't politically correct. That used to be more of a "left" leaning philosophy back in the day, but these days the left are the new puritans so even making completely benign jokes on race, gender, religion will many times get you cast as "right-wing" by the current flavor of the american left.
