Savannah and Charleston
Galveston - don’t see it.
Houston - now thinking you are troll. If New Orleans had its DNA removed, reversed, flipped upside down, shaken but not stirred, and sprinkled with interstate concrete by-ways dust…
Then I see the resemblance.

Mobile. Ended up there last year for a work function and had a good time.
It's like NOLA but less people, cleaner and safe.

As my mother says, Charleston is a southern lady and New Orleans is a southern whore. You love them each for what they are.

None remind me of NO. The city is unique. I will give that shite hole that. And it wasn’t always a shite hole. There’s some reason why it is since the late 60s.

Had a Charleston tour guide describe the difference as less puke on streets of Charleston. I suggested Charlestonians learn how to party when they visit New Orleans. New Orleanians know how to party.

Spot on, Jeremiah, especially in the older part.

That ethos is always present, but rarely stated, on this board by those “shithole” authors. Applaud you for your race slant transparency.
Less so for your 1960 history knowledge limit (see Storyville as a case in point).

I agree, but Charleston had sole custody

I’d rather that and it didn’t make NO a shite hole. What’s been going on the past 60 years did.

You mean vomit filled streets?

Charleston is a cleaner New Orleans but less culture

Memphis is by far the closest city to New Orleans in every way.
