That’s good to know. I always thought it was law that they couldn’t be closed 2 days in a row.

With what you can do at ATM’s now, I hardly ever go into a location.

I’m happy to approve any PTO for those days. That’s what it’s for.

No need to continue to make the workforce softer.

No mail on Christmas Eve.

They closed early on xmas eve already.

And not sure if this is accurate.

Despite President Trump issuing an executive order to close many federal agencies on Dec. 24 this year, USPS holiday operations are NOT automatically changed by that order because the Post Office is an independent agency with its own holiday schedule (it does not follow every federal “office closed” order).

People love to bitch about nothing though.

Another EO.

So heathen ferals are OFF Christmas, December 26th. AND December 24. Nice gig.

But aw, come on Mr President -- don't be stingy! Also give them all $10,000 bonuses too!! You're already printing up an extra $40 billion per month.

Sucks they have to work the 25th, though.

25th is already a federal holiday and the 24th and 26th are usually days off anyway unless they fall on weird days

Just what the government needs, more days off.

Hey man, I work my balls off and risk my life in almost every state across the country, away from my family, every day at work. Dealing with the absolute dregs of society.

But when "government workers" are brought up, everyone thinks about La'Queesha at the DMV and the road crew patching potholes with 12 dudes standing around watching one guy work.

It should also be noted that I will be working at any time over Christmas Eve to the 26th and beyond if duty calls. We are not all the same

Curious how that will affect bank branches that close on Federal Holidays. I'm pretty sure there is some kind of law that banks can't be legally closed for more than 3 (might be 4, can't remember) consecutive days.

What about all the businesses that depend on the banks being able to do business those days?

Its because the 26th is a friday. Its creating a long holiday weekend for vacations. Our plant is closed. We gotta use vacation to get paid but we did shut down.

Might as well be. There was never much work being done where I worked. I'm sure retail will be rocking.
