FAFO is such an annoying saying

Basically an excuse for violence that came from knock out videos on Twitter

They can't help themselves. The media, as a whole, needs to be shut down. This shite will not end well.

How long do we blame the media, rather than the congregation that eats this shite up, then runs to the Internet and streets to spread the gospel?

If crowds came around me outdoors for my political talks I would have bulletproof glass around me every time

There's always radicals when it comes to politics, you never know when one is going to snap

He was on a bipartisan economic task force. He never applied to be a delegate for the DNC

Everyone described him as a conservative and deeply religious. He was a prepper. He targeted multiple Democratic politicians. He was a registered republican.

Do the math

I saw a closeup video on X, not posting it here, but unfortunately I don't think there is any chance he survives.

I don't even like the guy but that is so incredibly fricked up. He did not deserve that at all.

from the guy who’s already racked up 10+ posts in a thread about an assassination attempt that happened barely an hour ago — all just to run defense for his ‘team.’

that’s hilarious.

Idk if it’s that as much as a media (both news and podcast) fueling hate problem.

I feel like much of the discourse in the country is driven by extremes. It’s always ‘all or nothing’ rather than something more substantive. Media definitely fuels it because that sort of extremes drives clicks and ad revenue.

I’m honestly shaking on this one. Like my hands are physically shaking over this. I didn’t feel this way when Trump was shot, but I think it’s because he was quickly confirmed to be OK and then the adrenaline kicked in confident Trump would go scorched earth in six months bringing RFK in with him. But this… my parents and wife have no idea how big Charlie Kirk actually is. I don’t see any way he survives that shot, and assuming the worst, this is the most significant American assassination in my lifetime. This might be the most significant American assassination since RFK. I fully believe that Charlie could have been elected as President of the United States 20 years from now.

Go do some blow and post all night

Yep, it's like clockwork(Trump assassination attempt, Jan 6). When one side physically attacks the other in a heinous way that is indefensible in every human way, people of the side that committed the act will twist themselves into pretzels to say it was an inside job by the other side.

You’re getting downvoted but you’re absolutely correct. And again, the media fuels this and the bad part is…idk how we even come back from this. Not this particularly awful event, but just this era of political violence

The independent media in particular has made its living off of the red meat.

People are just out of control now. Politics is not worth killing someone over. I don’t care how passionate you are about an issue or how important that issue is, you don’t kill someone over it or because their views are different. It’s just sickening that this is where we are now.
