exactly.

there's a TON of CA folks here in middle TN and i yet to meet a single one that is remotely left-leaning. they have been suppressed in CA due to political corruption and soon CA will collapse when all the John Galts have left that state.

they are THRILLED to be here.

This doesn't add up to me. Places like Austin, Denver, Las Vegas, Boise, etc... have all been overrun by California transplants. Every one of them has gotten much bluer.

even if they were somewhat conservative by cali standards, they're hard left by the standards of the states they're invading

Exactly my point. And tech jobs are moving from CA to Austin, Dallas etc.

The more populated the major metros get, the bluer the state goes. That’s what’s happening to Texas. It won’t be 2024, but start looking around 2028 and Texas will be more purple. Over time, blue.

It was actually transplants who helped keep Greg Abbott and Ted Cruz in office there.

Unfortunately they bring their stupid behavior and voting and invade the sane parts of the country.

Some. But states like California and New York have more republicans than a lot of the reddest states in the nation just based off of sheer numbers.

Most of the younger New Yorkers that moved down here that I’ve met ( palm beach county) aren’t the progressive type. They’re just sick of the shite and know they can’t change it up there.

Yes, every single person in California is a Democrat.

fun fact, that state is so big that they had more republican votes in the 2020 presidential election than any other state.

Maybe Austin. I think Texas is firmer in the red than you realize. They made a major political push to start flipping in the last four-six years and have not had a ton of success. Hopefully that continues.

The middle class in California that is fleeing isn't all "conservative." Some are just fleeing economic terrorism and aren't able to link cause and effect. They can't afford a home in Cali, so they move elsewhere.

Select cities will get the moderate dems. These places are considered "safe". Other places will get the conservatives. Let's be honest, Austin was "weird" way before this current exodus

The actual good Californians are the rural baws, and they aren't ever leaving that state. They enjoy the unreal nature California has way too much. The rest are awful.

Californians IGNORED the signs Oregon put up admonishing them to visit and then go home.

I want to know how long they get to keep the two Representatives they should have already lost.

I guess California is not counting all the illegals pouring across the border and sucking off the teat.

cool .. another thread where fat plant workers from Plaquemine or Prairieville come shite on a state that offers infinitely more opportunity and quality of life than they can dream of. The obsession is sad.
