She's the best at what she does. Rarely if ever loses a case. Just look at what she did for the now deceased fmr Commissioner of AG Bob Odom. She's a pitbull.

Attorneys, who in their letter write they represent “Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome”—or a different group of plaintiffs—could also try to challenge the incorporation in federal court, arguing their 14th Amendment due process rights were violated.

My 14th amendment rights are attempting to be violated as they are trying to nullify what myself and the majority in the city voted for.

Did Central get a pass on this or did they sue Central because their rights were violated? I don't recall hearing anything about that and if they didn't follow this same course of action with Central, this case should get thrown out.

That's still better than BR. Murder count since the election BR - 6, StG - 0....and that's without counting shootings were no one died, BR had 3 of those last night

For the attorneys here, is this a common thing:

An attorney “representing Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome” has put officials with the city of St. George on notice that a lawsuit is coming soon and they need to preserve any documents that could be relevant to the case.

yes. it's a spoliation letter. if these documents become an issue in discovery and they've been lost/destroyed, you will have a bad day. if you don't send a notice, it's possible they can claim they didn't anticipate litigation prior to being served, which will excuse the behavior sometimes

Speaking of Central, StG has apparently retained the city attorney for Central to represent them in any and all matters with regards to the incorporation.

She represented the city through its own fight with EBR, IIRC, before being appointed to the position after the city formed.

No eyebrows on a lawyer is like blue jeans and rolled up sleeves on Jay Grimes. Beware.
