Among those in attendance besides Barfield and Haymon were: Richard Lipsey, Mike Wampold, Mike Polito, John Engquist, John Noland, Bill Balhoff, Adam Knapp, Ann Trappey, John Snow, Bryan Jones, John Jackson, Coletta Barrett, Edgardo Tenreiro, and Shawn Usher.
Which one of those is LSURussian??

Make no mistake. This case will end up being "randomly allotted" to either Trudy or Janice.
There's some high level algorithms running to make sure this one doesn't end up with Billy Morvant.
Can St. George request a change of venue?

I assume you didn't see my post last week where I said I don't support delaying B.R.exit by using frivolous lawsuits.
What I do support is allowing businesses and residents being allowed to belong to whichever city they want to be in.
If someone was left out of the SG footprint but want to be in SG, let there be an easy path for them to be included in SG. If someone who was included in the SG footprint but wants to be in BR, let there be an easy path for them to be in BR.
And by "someone" I mean a majority of homeowners or commercial property owners in a contiguous area. Neither city needs to look like Swiss cheese with a bunch of holes inside it that is in the other city.
That approach would help with curing the mindset of "us against them" that we've become.
My main hope now is that we start the process of working together rather than obstructing each other.

I know in criminal cases this is often pursued. Not too sure about civil though.

Pretty sure Wampold owns the vacant land down Bluebonnet Extension towards Nicholson/Hwy. 30. I expect that to be annexed to BR.

You sir just nailed it, I agree 100% with the above.
Let’s hope our civic leaders catch a breath of fresh air and let neighborhoods and property owners make their decision.
There are legal, practical ways for neighborhoods to respond to the SG vote, I wholeheartedly support them in their responses even if it doesn’t include SG.

Not to mention it’s not a B.R. Exit. Can’t exit what you were not incorporated into in the first place.

This looks like a list of corruption

Pretty much.
BR Area Foundation says that their purpose is to “convene leaders of government, nonprofits and businesses to conduct projects.” Said projects apparently tend to benefit certain people and not the greater BR area.
The BR Area Chamber claims to lead economic development in the nine-parish Baton Rouge area but they seem awfully focused on one municipality in one parish within that area.

I do not think Wampold owns that.

Why thank you ma’am.
I am sure BR Exit was just an oversight on your part. It’s hard to break bad habits.

That process happened on election day. Cities must be contiguous. The mindset of us versus them is directly because of people like you who have been intellectually dishonest from the fricking start of this process.

What a joke. I have an idea. Why don't we sit back, take a breath and give St George a chance ?? If things don't agree with you as we move forward, then move toward making a change. What do you really have to lose ??
Posted on 10/25/19 at 4:35 pm to Chili Mac
Right on brother. The clowns in BR and on Tigerdroppings still crying about St George are pathetic losers.
