Burger King - by far the worst fast food chain out there as far as quality and customer service.
Service isn’t near as bad as Popeyes.
I actually like their burgers but everything else is awful

When did Radio Shack close?
Where will I get floppy disc for my Tandy computer?
I finally saved enough money to get my double sided floppy disc player.
Man that sucks!

Maybe not 15 years ago but I'm decently surprised that Dick's Sporting Goods is still in business. I really though they would go the route of Sports Authority.
A lot of sports equipment is stuff I would be okay with buying online. Never mind the prices at Dick's, even for a generic training t-shirt, are just ridiculous. They usually want $40 or $50 for a generic Nike training shirt when I can buy some off brand that is just as good for $10 or $15 at Walmart.
Plus it's not really the place you go for specialty equipment. I play tennis and I always go to a tennis store, online or through a coach to buy equipment. Plus those routes let you actually demo a racquet before buying it, something Dick's wouldn't allow. I'm sure it's the same with other sports as well.

Visit a casino like the one in Philadelphia, MS and you can see how people will like the pockets of casinos no matter where they are

quote:Notice how they are all labeled “novelty” items? That’s because they don’t want to pay for the food-grade certifications on their materials and manufacturing processes that the FDA would require if they sold them as what they actually are. So, they’re made from the lowest grade base materials, with the cheapest grade of production, and pay zero in oversight/quality costs. I’d say the markup is way more than 100%, and is more like 95¢ on every dollar.
mean how expensive is it to make a phony wiener made out of silicon, plastic, glass, metal, etc. Even toys are just basically electrical motors and since it's so easy to connect them to wifi and so on and yet people pay markups of at least over 100%

Eh. The major rise in vapes, weed pens, etc. PLUS the growing legalization of recreational weed makes it no surprise at all to me that still around.
Occasional smokers often don't buy a smoking device until they need it right then and there, so online stores really only catch the regular smokers.

Every business on Choctaw.
I mean.. they're warehouse offices for companies that don't have walk-in customers. Not really surprising they continue to do business in dirt cheap buildings. Off the top of my head.. a drill bit company, a cutting tool company, an industrial services company..
Don't really see a need for them to be in the middle of Essen Lane.

I assumed CVS/Walgreens survived on their retail - not their pharmacy.
They run very healthy margins on their retail items, often meeting or exceeding convenience store prices, but with much larger selections.
They are eventually going to totally consolidate and drop locations, but they'll be around for a very long time.
