Looking desperate like this only gives more incentive to the boycotters. Trans issues aside, it's a powerful feeling when consumers get a taste of sticking it to big corporations. Subconsciously most humans probably hate that they're beholden to manufacturers. Boycotting a massive brand (knowing that you're actually doing damage) gives a feeling of empowerment, even if it's momentarily before running off to consume the new Marvel film or give money to Walmart.

I can only imagine the business school case studies that will be done on Bud Light moving forward.

“An ex CIA agent and a born again progressive were given control of the largest beer brand in the United States… within months they were reduced to begging people to drink their beer for free on the 4th of July.”

No, because it shows beer movement. They still have produced the beer, make them pay to store it too

1.) Have some dignity and principles.
2.) AB is just using this to artificially prop up their "sales numbers" so they can pretend things aren't as bleak as they are, when the investors/board review the numbers. It will count as "cases sold" and they won't mention it was reimbursed with a rebate.

Undisclosed amounts of their beer is expiring unused and being written off as a loss coast to coast along with sitting on taps in bars that aren’t generating revenue for bars.

This clears inventory backlogs and allows bars to generate revenue if in fact the people who weren’t buying it will even drink it for free.

Personally I think their brand is toxic in many circles and if this doesn’t work they will in fact have committed brand suicide in an unprecedented way.

We’ve seen brands get replaced due to quality/safety issues, fraud and emerging technology, but I can’t think of a political/cultural marketing campaign that did someone in like this.

Because the death of the most popular beer brand in America as a public repudiation of the trans movement is what we want here.

Budweiser begging like this transcends all logic. Companies should stick to selling their product instead of pushing fricked up agendas. Same for all those lunatic self serving assholes in Hollywood.

this isn't free. why does the OT have such a problem understanding this.

also I haven't seen bud light under $24 anywhere, so $15 rebate isn't gonna cover the cost.

I was hoping to score some free beer.

I come in and it's the stupid $15 rebate again that Louisiana isn't even eligible for.

Another funny side part to this boycott, is the craft breweries.

It's not secret that a large portion of small craft breweries are more liberal. Hell, Jester King in Austin, TX is outwardly trying to fight a bill that prohibits minors from attending drag shows at breweries. But, one thing that they used to be all in almost universal agreement, was their disdain for "big beer". They had respect for the big breweries in terms of quality, but they loathed their business practices of attacking craft beer, and then when that didn't work, buying up small craft breweries to offset the market share loss to craft beer. Often, the affect to those craft breweries that were purchased, was cost-cutting efforts to save a penny, by dictating to these breweries cheaper ingredients. Eventually, this led to many small crafts going belly up, all because they sold out to AB-Inbev or the like. This garnered almost universal hate from independent craft beer and many beer writers.

What we find now, is that some of these liberal/leftist breweries/craft industry people, are forced to defend bud light now. They are doing all the typical gas lighting that leftists do, "the conservative bigotry aimed at destroying the trans movement" and shite like that. And they all universally contend that its' those "damned conservative rednecks" that are causing the downfall of this brand, and that most people don't support this.

The continued downward trajectory is showing exactly how far off base they are. If this was simple "right vs. left" politics that spurred the boycott, then surely the fall into the precipice would be mitigated by increased sales from the liberals/left. But we aren't seeing that. What we are seeing is universal rejection of bud light, across the spectrum of politics. And why? Not because of trannies, but because of this 1 specific tranny.

Dylan Mulvaney was the worst horse bud light could have backed. Why? Because his persona of what a woman is was extremely insulting to actual women. Women are not silly pre-teen girls. That's not how they act. Secondly, Mulvaney used his social media to encourage tranny surgery to permanently mutilate these kids who, like all kids, are confused at a young age.

In short, Bud Light committed seppuku. Now they are doing everything they can to remove the knife from their gullet, except backing off from their support of Mulvaney and the trans-grooming farce.

Even if they gave 15 cash on the spot (no rebate crap) to take a case, I wouldn't take it. However, this was the case before this tranny crap. All this did was push lots of others to join in on the realization that budlight tastes like crap. It never belonged in the same spectrum of light mainstream beers.

Rebate??

LOL. They still don’t get it. Nobody is filling out a fricking form to get a rebate!! Whoever is pissed off at them certainly doesn’t want to be on their email list.

How about FREE BEER. Show ID. Get a free case or 12 pack. Whichever.
