Just like the “do not enter” sign at the pilot station in Port Barre for the entrance off 190. Businesses cannot make or enforce traffic laws, regardless of their signage.

None on my place. Bucks still eating corn with other small bucks and does. Got a few scrapes, but they aren’t hot. Weather last night shut everything down here. Not a single deer on camera after about 8pm yesterday. 75° and mosquitos in late December sucks.

I understand. That’s why I wouldn’t be a good cop. You can’t pay me enough to get shot at. I don’t know the area, but being BR, I’m sure he blended in with the neighborhood residents, all of whom I’m sure, hate the cops. Cops probably decided their paycheck wasn’t enough to risk it.

Shame on the DA for letting this one out the first time.

I just hope they hire correctly. Most gas station employees in LA are awful people. Hire the wrong people, in that part of town, and we will show them that LA can be the first to close down a Buc-ee’s.

Kimber is known for using a lot of MIM (metal injection molding) parts on the intervals. Those are not nearly as good as machined parts and won’t hold up as well with a lot of use. Trigger jobs won’t stay nice, etc. If you use it very little, like most people, and use 45 ball ammo, it will probably be fine. If you plan to shoot it a lot, buy a cheap 1911 and have a gunsmith replace the internals. You will have just as good a gun, for way less money. If you just want a cool gun to show your buddies, go for it.

I’m pretty sure that less people wish me dead, than I wish were dead. I’m pretty easy to write people off. One or two instances of frickery, and you are cut off.

I hope those 500 permanent jobs don’t require computer skills. I’m from nela, and there aren’t 500 people there that know how to turn on a calculator, much less a computer. Who are you going to attract to a place where the selling point is “Monroe is only 30 mins away”. Monroe is dying as well and will go the way of Memphis and Jackson before long. Said it before and I’ll say it again, we should have picked our own damn cotton.
