Seats don’t look like factory

I wasn't sure if they were originally but found some other interiors that looked similar on Google so I believe they are.

You need to change that air filter...

Put a K&N filter on it.

My parents had a four-door one when I was a kid. A lady rear-ended us in Pensacola. Tore out her front end, but only left a scratch on my parents' bumper.

Best part was the lady who rear-ended us was screaming and yelling about suing my dad, he couldn't drive, yada, yada, and then the FHP officer shows up, gets out of the car, puts on his Stetson, and walks up to my dad and goes, "Hey, Steve, what seems to be the problem here?" That lady had a look on her face like she'd just been diagnosed with cancer.

Seats need a layer of armor all so you slide in and out.

My brother armor all'd his weathertech floor mats when detailing his car. Essentially turned them into ice.

He nearly broke his neck first time he planted his foot on the driver's side mat entering the car.

My Grandad had a 2 door 1970 Impala custom coupe that was a beautiful car. Almost identical to this one.

When your wife rides with you, she has to wear white cat-eye sunglasses. If is was a convertable, kerchief would be required.

Honestly, no. Not as my main car at least. Modern cars are too convenient. Backup camera in a car is essential for me. And it’s convenient to just have my phone sync to the car every time I get in.

327 and a Turbo 350 (I'm guessing).
Great engine. Didn't know it was still available in 1971.
Power steering pump on there somewhere?

Mom had a 66 Impala Super Sport. Drunken stepdad drove it to the bar in Vegas, where he pissed someone off and they torched it.

Yessir, correct on all accounts.

This isn't the 327 that came factory with the car however, it came out of a 1965 Corvette so it makes around 350 HP and has a mild cam.

That is a smallblock.

If it has been upgraded to an HEI distributor/ignition setup, it will not run after EMP. Sometimes the external coil of the points distributor is secured to the firewall, other times on the back on the intake I think. I don't see it, so it very well might have been converted to run on an HEI, which most people do so you don't have to mess with the points any more.

That's a sweet ride.
