A lot of history in that thing.

Run a black light in the back seat. Post pics on the OT.

Very close, 1969 Caprice.

I'm 30 so obviously wasn't around back then, does anyone know why a vinyl top was considered an "upgrade" back then?

Check that vinyl top good for water intrusion - it will rust underneath it.

Yep. The leakage under a vinyl top will show up as a slight bulge or "bubble" as the metal corrodes under the vinyl. Nice looking car though. Mine is a 40 year old g-body daily driver that is easy to work on and the engine, AC, suspension, etc. upgrades make it reliable.

Seats need a layer of armor all so you slide in and out.

Love the wheels but turn the lettering to the inside. Reminds me of the Bonneville we used to have.

The theme song of “Shaft” jumped into my head for some reason when I saw a picture of it.

The Caprice was considered the "luxury" edition of the Impala. I'm pretty sure the vinyl top was standard. Looking at Google Images, most of them had vinyl tops.

Seats don’t look like factory and do the gauges work? Someone was trying to hot rod that car’s looks with the crager wheels. How much?
