Another Equals gem, and a fairly big hit.

Rig Rundown: Marty Stuart & Kenny Vaughan - The Fabulous Superlatives
Posted by Telecaster on 12/5/25 at 11:45 pm
Marty and Kenny discuss their guitars and amplifiers. String bender Telecasters, Martins, Rickenbackers and pedal boards.
Great stuff from one of the best bands around.

re: What do you find most annoying about working in a cubicle environment?

Dumbasses burning microwave popcorn.
I was able to tune out the noise, the chatter and the other idiocy in an office setting.
Burned popcorn was the absolute worst - because it was stupidly avoidable.

I love the dichotomy found in Christmas music played in surf guitar instrumental style.
The Ventures Christmas album is great too.

re: Jim Robinson, Founder of Free Republic, Early Conservative Online Pioneer passes away
Posted by Telecaster on 11/25/25 at 10:40 am to EphesianArmor
Thanks for posting this. I had not heard about Jim Rob’s passing.
My Freeper birthdate was April 4, 2000. Posted and read there heavily for a few years and drifted away. I would occasionally stop by and scroll a few pages but rarely posted anymore.
El Rushbo would get stories from reading Free Republic - that’s how important that site was to the conservative movement.
RIP Jim Rob
