I am in agreement, but as soon as I see the protest I’m out. I don’t want to be anywhere around these leftist nut jobs protesting. I’m getting as much distance as I can between me and them. I design my life to have as little contact with these types as possible so I probably would never be at that concert or in that city. They have very low impulse control.

That’s already happening here. I’m starting to believe that the lack of police response and cancellation of events is calculated to let confrontational protesters alienate Madison progressives who have virtue signaled in the past without understanding the consequences. The Madison subreddit is becoming unusually balanced, given its history. Or it could be that the authorities are just a bunch of cowards. Either way, the backlash has begun.
