What I’m seeing when I walk past the barricades is opportunistic politicians, local grifters, mentally ill homeless, narcissists with megaphones, and performative virtue signaling by self-proclaimed progressives of all ages. Now on Day 3 of these protests & I firmly believe this is going to backfire on them. This isn't 2020 where everyone is locked indoors in a mental panic. The optics of going up to random whites trying to simply eat lunch yelling at them threatening to kill them doesn't go over like it did six years ago.
Also, according to the authorities in Madison, Carlos Ruiz is white. Something that's always important to keep in mind when looking at racial crime statistics.
