They made news for being kicked off a few weeks ago, now they're suing for $11 million in damages.

The 11 women—10 of them black—say employees of the Napa Valley Wine Train had them removed for getting too loud while celebrating the birthday of one of their book club members. The women say they were targeted by employees because of their race.

Until a judge is willing to just rake these fricking a-hole types through the coals, this kind of stupid bullshite lawsuit will continue to pop up. Everyone wants to play the lottery without buying tickets these days.

Racist. These are refined women from a book club. They don't drink Mad Dog. They drink white zinfandel.

This made me laugh. We had a buddy when we were young who was BRPD, one who was EBRSO and one who was LSP. When the law showed up because of whatever fricked thing we were doing, we would just grab the appropriate guy from the responding agency and send him to chat with them. "Go get Jim. It's the Sheriffs Office."

I thought racism only happened in the south?

I wonder how they justify $11m in damages.

Some lawyer got into their ear of course. If it wasn't a lawyer in their ear, then I hope for the worst possible outcome for them.

So they each want $1 million dollars? Because that's what the actual damage was to each of them right?

Man if they each get $1,000,000 for that, I hope slavery reparations never happen. Because then we will all owe eleventy trillion dollars.

I think they should each have to serve 30 days in jail for filing such a bullshite lawsuit.

According to the link -
I can't even.
quote:The company apologized for the women being loud, drunk and disruptive?
The Napa Valley Wine Train has already apologized for the incident
I can't even.
