BGE is pricey but it's all you'd ever need. It's an industrial strength grill, a pizza oven and a smoker.
That said, my BGE is at the camp. Too lazy to bring it back. When I smoke at home I use the 40" MasterBuilt electric. If you already have a grill you're happy with, then maybe just adding a smoker will save you some money.
I love the MB electric I have. Simple and easy to use.

Sometimes I wonder if this is a case of "absence makes the heart grow fonder ", but I vividly remember having to wait for chicken on more than occasion. They'd top off your drink and hand you a box so full you couldn't close it as a way of saying thanks.

Get a Canyon or a Colorado. I think they tow up to 7K pounds. Tacomas and Frontiers won't come close to that.

Buy the Henry new, but pick up an older 10/22 from LA Sportsman or something and rehab it.
It's a fun project. I'm building one now. Got the trigger pulling consistently just below 2 lbs. It's gonna make a fun plinker.
