Based on the description of the various tickets offered by the train on their website...doesn't look like an environment that lends to people getting overly loud. Seems like a more subdued environment for those that want to enjoy wine and being on a train, you do realize it is possible to drink and not get loud and drunk?...and not deal with some loud rude women that clearly don't know how to act in public.

There are multiple limo services available. If you do not want to deal with how other people behave while drinking, rent one. I am not really concerned with their behavior on the train but the responses on the board are pretty far off base. These were not uneducated crack heads from the local projects. This was a book club....

Bush-I am not from Ca. I am from Alabama....I would much prefer the company of bayou Boy Scouts on the beach than the average Californian. I damn sure prefer southern culture. I only have an associates degree and am pretty low class....but I don't but into the stereo types of black people

I think we get it was a book club
That was being loud and wouldn't stfu when asked nicely several times by management. When you have a business and there are several others complaining about a party of people being too loud....what are you supposed to do? I say they have the right to make overly disruptive patrons leave.

Don't be dense. Loudness is relative in that what you consider to be loud may not be what I consider to be loud.
What are you talking about? Dense? Loudness is an objectively measurable thing. Maybe to a certain point its "relative" as you speak, or maybe certain voices have different pitches/tones, but loudness itself is not different for each person's ears unless they can't sense differing sounds.
Maybe they were just simply loud, and everyone could hear them to the point where it was disruptive?
Just like if someone was in the back screaming and yelling and banging on things.
Its very simple. Do you not see how volume works on your phone or other mobile devices? Notice how the volume changes for EVERYONE if the bar moves?
Again, this is a stupid thing to argue over, and its not $11 million worth.
This is clearly a lawyer trying to capitalize on the PC culture of today, especially regarding black individuals. Its been done before.

If that's what happened I agree. When I bartended I cut people off. my responses were more geared towards the hatefulness displayed in other responses not to the actual incident.

I think many people are just sick and tired of hearing the race card played all the time.
11 million because you made to leave?! Really?
Meanwhile there are real problems, real issues our attention should be focused on. Not a group of women trying to cash out on their skin color.

One of the most popular spots for margaritas started serving flavored margaritas. They quickly raised the price of the flavored ones because they attracted a lot more black people. And this was Mexicans

Wtf is cheddars?
It's a shitty food chain restaraunt that's real cheap.
The point is if you're being loud and obnoxious and someone/management tells you to keep it down, you use your "inside voice" instead of being disrespectful. Or go get you some hearing aids and turn those bitches all the way up because if you're having you yell to talk to each other, then you obviously must have a hearing problem.

And if they're educated as we've been thoroughly told, then why do they need any financial awards?
Honestly, why would they want to be such an example for the black community anyways?

Ahh. I thought cheddars was a restaurant in Napa...
i don't think they deserve a million bucks for getting kicked out. If so I would be rich! I have been kicked out of a few places...

Black women are the loudest groups of people to dine with from my experience. I can't imagine them ruining my Napa wine tour
They should probably have been fined for disturbing the peace
Sorry Paige, I couldn't hear you over the 10 loud elephant trunks
