Serves the idiots who invested in this pipe dream right. What kind of moron would be so stupid as to think that something like this absurd "bitcoin" bull shite would fly for long? Seriously... How stupid do you have to be to think that the world's major players in the financial realm would let this bitcoin scam survive in the long term? This goes to show that the old adage of a "fool and his money being easily parted" is as true today as it ever was.

Bit coins were at 31 in February. After this development they are at 618. Still looks like a hell of a profit to me.

How far did it drop?

The guy who was selling his mansion for bitcoin is probably hoping all the paperwork isn't done yet.

I'd not let him near any high-rise windows, razor blades, bridges, or loaded firearms today for sure.

I might pick up a few now. It's going to get above $1000 again.

Lee blamed government regulation for the decision. China's central bank warned in early December that bitcoin was not legally protected and had no "real meaning", and barred financial institutions from using the currency.

So you and the Chinese share the same backward thinking and ignorance

and even if it does (which if it did would only be a testament to how stupid people have become), do you not realize that on any given day you could wake up and find out that overnight it's lost 50% (or more) of it's value overnight? Seriously, think about that. Do you really want to invest in something that is highly susceptible to a 50% loss in value over-night?
