Tacoma is a 1/2 ton pickup. Toyota hasn't made a true 1/4 ton truck in quite a while.
Not for sale in the US but Toyota builds the shite out of Hiluxes internationally…

Yeah...should have said "in the US" around the world, they actually sell more of the Hilux than the Tacoma and Tundra combined.

The only one that was close was the F-150. I bought the 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn and love it.

I've had 2 rams. Not the current style but they were both fine vehicles. I think all of the big 3 make a good truck now.

After owning a Tundra, I would agree that the Tacoma is a bitch truck.

I owned and miss my Tundra, but the Taco will go places the Tundra would never dream of going

There's a reason Toyota pushed everyone out of the midsize truck market for a decade

i Have been thinking about getting a ranger but those mavericks dont look too bad. Pretty cheap compared to other trucks as well.

If you want to swallow a heavy load buy a Ridgeline. If you want to haul a heavy load buy a Chevy Silverado.

Amazing numbers. GM building over 60,000 trucks alone each MONTH (3000ish a day) is simply incredible. That doesn't include all of their other vehicles (6.8 million per year total with trucks). They're not building little coffee makers....these are complete vehicles.

I just don't see how this can be true. If it is, what's a Tundra? Also, if so, Chevy/Ford/Ram must be 1/2 ton+.

Of course Louisiana would fall for GM's shitty pandering.
