Seems odd to me that Ford or GM wouldn't be the best selling in every state based on fleet sales alone.

After owning a Tundra, I would agree that the Tacoma is a bitch truck.

It’s not a ”bitch truck” in the woods, my baw.

They last forever with minimal work, are small enough for easy urban driving, and can handle the off-road conditions without a hiccup

I’ve often heard a Chevy is considered to be a truck.

Not sure why

Being practical threatens a lot of baws' manhood.

We all know people in the south don’t use their truck for what it’s meant for. Those of us in the mountains know a Tacoma is the most practical truck for off roading or being on forest roads in the mountains. Good luck fitting an F250 on a mountain pass.

True. I don't equate my perceived dick size to my truck size. Luckily, I don't ever have to tow anything bigger than a small trailer. A lot of men get trucks because they feel like that's what they're supposed to have. Most don't need them. I wish I didn't need one. I'd much rather a small, fast car than a truck. One day I'll have both.

I know several die hard baws who have purchased Tacoma’s in the past five years. Also goes along with the ones who are on the water every day who use Yamaha boat motors. Quality matters

With the lib states buying non-Ford's how does Bama line up with the Chevy Silverado?

Is there a big Chevy plant in the state?

I was in the market for a full size crew cab truck in late May, early June. Toyota was not on the list of approved vehicles so I didn’t consider the Tundra. I took my time trying out Chevy, Ford, GMC, and Ram. Hands down the Ram stood head and shoulders above. The only one that was close was the F-150. I bought the 2021 Ram 1500 Bighorn and love it.

I’ve since added running boards and a spray-in bed liner. I’ll be adding a bedcover here soon.

Preach.

I have land deep in the Ozarks, and there is now way I could get a Silverado through my switchbacks without risking life. And when you encounter the rare oncoming vehicle on a narrow mountain road, it’s nice to be nimble.

IMHO, they all appear to be morphing into the same designs, at least cosmetically.

I've been loyal to the Silverado for a long time- and will likely remain that way. Got a 2015 with 111k miles on it and counting with zero issues. Keep the oil changed and they'll last quite a while...
