So Jill Dyason will be subject to the retribution of Cormier and Better Together because she made the choice to bring the St. George issue to a vote. Bunch of lowlife anti Americans. Pure trash.
ETA: Even if you're against St. George, how can anyone support this kind of harassment? So come on downvoter explain why you condone this BS.

Cormier said she took the picture Oct. 20, one of several pictures she took of notable signatories as she was paging through for the first time the 14,500 names on the petition. The parish Registrar of Voters Office is in the process of verifying the petition, and Cormier’s group is conducting its own vetting of the signatures.
Cormier said she shared a few pictures like the one showing Dyason’s signature with a limited number of people at the time, but she said she’s not releasing information about them until Better Together completes its own review.

Why so much fear over allowing this to come to a vote?

I didn't read anything about her resigning or getting voted out

Because they know it will pass.

It means that BR has to balance its budget off BR rather than use the unincorporated areas to fund everyone’s services.
Long term, it means a move away from the EBRPSS which will help accelerate its collapse.
The current system where all the A and B kids are in magnets and all the C D and F kids are juggled between schools to keep ahead of a state takeover isn’t sustainable and this will speed up the timetable on it.

Because it will be absolutely approved by voters and that scares the shite out of the non-STG residents.

Because it is obviously a better deal for the people living in the unincorporated areas. The only way to keep it from happening is to intimidate people into not signing or make them think they'd be racist if they do.

Because BR doesn’t want to lose their cash cow... right now BR always falls short of money they draw from the parish fund and if St. G becomes its own city they can’t draw from that anymore...

This is kind of a rare thing, whereas the "residents" inside the proposed city will be the ones who get to vote, but the consequences of a vote to incorporate will impact every resident in the parish.
Now, this is only because the parish/city have been taking more in tax revenue from this area, then in services they provide.
The other residents are going to have to get over it. But, that's the fear.

And BR residents trust these people?
She took these photos with malicious intent.

Pretty pathetic for the advocate to show her information, but its not surprising. The advocate is complete garbage.

I'm thinking showing her name along with her address will likely end bad for whoever took the picture and the editor from the advocate that allowed it to be printed to the public.

That's been my position. I signed the petition when I lived in 70810 b/c I believe in a vote even thought I think St George is a bad idea.
Just like I voted for Pinnacle(La Berg) and I don't even gamble.
Freedom and democracy iz cool.

Just because you can post public info, doesn't mean you should.

Addresses are public information. You can search the tax roll. Nobody ever seemed worried about the old phone books.
