Tulane University Law School had the highest passage rate for first-time takers at a staggering 90%. Nice work by the flagship on getting those bar passage rates up!

All takers
TULANE
54
45 (83.33%) - Passed
9 (16.67%) - Failed
First time Takers
TULANE
50
45 (90.00%) - Passed
5 (10.00%) - Failed
Thus, every Tulane grad that failed and retook the exam, failed again.
Of the 7 re-takers for LSU, only 3 failed (4 passed). Also, LSU's percentage for all takers was higher.

Tulane only had 50 test takers.
LSU had 122.
Southern still has the most improvement overall. Kudos to them.

Why are they still accredited, and/or why are we still using tax dollars to fund them?

When the test is the thing, you better make sure it's a damn good test.

Kudos? Really?
When your at the bottom the only direction is up.
Great if they improve but congratulations for most improvement when it gets compared to other schools is a BS take.

The demographics at SLC would surprise you, I know a lot of good lawyers that circumstances and money sent them to Southern. They do very well.

Sure I have friends that went there and do fine, but literally half the people who graduate don't pass the bar, literally the entire point of law school. Instead of running a charity school, we should put more of that money into the public law school that continually pumps out competent graduates.
ETA: We should probably close about half of the public universities in the state generally, but that's a different story.

They're the only law school you can attend part time. A lot of people who want to go back to school use Southern.

Better to know where they land
Tulane grads maybe wound up at white shoe firms
LSU grads maybe wound up at government contract firms

Loyola doesn’t have part time anymore? Understandably private school and more expensive though

We need to cut a law school but cutting SULC will never happen and it is the obvious choice by geography and bar passage rate (I say this as a SULC grad). AI is about condense down the business of law, especially as the current 50/60/70 year olds retire.

What did they do to turn things around?
Last time they trailed Southern.

At least half:
Only 4 years+ publics that should exist:
LSU-BR
SU-BR
La Tech
Only undergrads:
ULL
NLU
SLU
Convert to 2 year/junior colleges
LSU-E
LSU-A
McNeese
LSUNO
Schools that should be shuttered:
All the rest
