If they didn't play I be strokin, back that arse up and wipe it down, it wasn't a true South Louisiana reception.

Honestly, all weddings with DJs I’ve been to play this kind of stuff.

Live band is the only way to go in south Louisiana.

We gave the "DJ" (person that pressed play) a disc with a bunch of illegally downloaded MP3s. There wasn't a single rap song played all night.

That’s modern times to me. I guess we’re arguing semantics here, but anything from the 2nd half of the 20th century on is modern in my opinion.

So La Bamba is modern to you? How fricking old are you?

I don't know if it's trashy or not because I've never heard of that song nor Wacka Flacka.

That song is almost 15 years old. You are living under rock if you have at least never heard of that song.

IMO. people who need to ask “is_____ trashy” on the OT are themselves trashy.

I guess I've been living under a rock. Never heard of it.

I was just jamming to "California Open Invitation" by The Damn Quails while working in my wood shop. Now that's a good song and a good Oklahoma band right there.

This isn't a congregation that knows the song "No Hands"

Confirmed, no idea what this song is (are you on my lawn?).

Are you upset because none of the bridesmaids wanted to sleep with you?

I swear some of you just seem like miserable fricks.

You do you at your own wedding. Sounds like they were all having a good time and that's what it's all about.

i had to google it to see what it was.

looks like some OT 3's and the type of crowd who would loot the walmart

Had no idea what this was. So I did the same:

After the 1st 10 seconds of this "song", I can concur that any wedding reception where this is played is TRASHY.

I fear for the future of this country.

Never heard it before either, and after listening to about 60 seconds of it, it's tamer than most rap I've heard at weddings. I'm pretty sure we played more than one Ying Yang Twins song at mine back in the day.

The Conway Twitty crowd will always have a problem with anything more explicit than what music was advertised on TV in the 80s.

You might not be trashy, but sounds like you haven't had much fun in life either.

The OT thinks every wedding reception should be a Viennese waltz until the rowdy last 30 minutes when the band can play Brown Eyed Girl, Sweet Caroline and Don't Stop Believing

By the time the song was played the bridesmaids were all hammered. One of them was lying on the floor while the others were standing over her and dancing over her.

They did this but the song is what made the reception trashy.
