They do. My buddy had the 6' bed in a 2017. He wrecked it and just bought a 2020 with the long bed. He did go to a dealer that told him that doesn't exist so he just looked at a different dealer.

People reward Toyota for not doing anything to keep the Tundra current (not even minimal effort).
Get an F150 with the 5.0 V8.

No they don't . They have a double cab with a 6.5 ft and 8 ft. and only the Crew Max with a 5.5 ft. Double cab is four doors still though and the back is adequate for your average person.

All I can add to this is I drive a Toyota from 2015 and the damn thing still runs like a top.
I had a friend at school who drove like a ‘99 Tacoma and that thing was reliable as hell.

My Dad has a 2011 Tundra (TRD) 4x4 that he uses for work. It has over 400k miles on it, with the only issues being replacing the fuel pump and the alternator. It’s still running the original transmission fluids. It consistently hauls 1500 pound loads and is used primarily for short trips (truck has never left Alabama). He still uses it everyday.

I have a 2007 Tundra. That’s the first year they were made in San Antonio. It runs very good. I have no issues. I have about 130 K on it. And I think it will last for another 150K. At times I want something new with bells and whistles. But I use it mostly to pile shite in the back to haul. It does that so I’m keeping it.

He doesn't have a crewmax..
He has a four door but that's what they call their double cab.

Except for maybe the Nissan, they all look much more modern. I liked the Tundra’s styling in 2007, but it’s grown pretty stale since then. A redesign is incoming for the Tundra and Sequoia next year.
FYI - you can get a Diesel engine in all of the competitors. The GMC Sierra with the in-line 6 turbo diesel is probably where I would go now if I wanted another pickup.

Had a 2012 Tundra. Cam tower seal leak at 150k miles. They wanted me to pay 4k for them to remove the motor, split it open, replace the seal, and stick it back in my truck. I chose not to pay to have a motor with 150k miles split open and put back together. I traded it in. Google cam tower seal leak for Tundras, its pretty common.

I like how the crew max looks but they ride like crap and thay are too damn expensive for the features.

This is why they’re reliable. They use proven tech for much longer than other brands.
The Big 3 in a race to have the most bells and whistles comes with a cost. That cost is a lot of recalls and bugs to be worked out
