Definitely on site to be the contractors muscle…

and frick his wife.

While he watched.
Dad graduated with Jimmy Buffett. When he would fly between his FL house to his Galveston home, he would stop and refuel in Houma. Jimmy would always give my dad a call and they would meet at JB & Barbra’s Frost Tops to grab lunch. Dad would slide him a few 5lb blocks of P&D shrimp. I must have made this trip with dad at least 50 times not knowing exactly who he was except that it was just my dads friend Mr. Jimmy. I kick myself all the time now not taking the chances to see him in concert because I took that relationship for granted…

Or try this out for size:

Louisiana rice yeild is down because farmers have moved from rice as a main crop to crawfish. More fields have moved to crawfish farming and even the waterfowl migration has suffered.

Tin cap off.

ETA: a little gif to add to the sarcasm.
I will never spend my hard earned money on a Stellantis product. They lost any reputable qualities.

Not a border collie but a collie none the less. I love my baby girl. She’s 11.5 years old now.

Wasn’t there a revitalization proposal for the warehouse district that included an arena and soccer field by one of the major oil companies? That would be a reason ASM Global would not have heard anything about it…

Their pizza is not good at all.

He did give a solid review of Tower of Pizza which was one of my dad’s favorite places to get pizza. RIP. Now, he would always make the trip to the Northshore to get Pizza Man.
This is a repost from a previous topic but I feel this story fits here perfectly.

Louisiana Urban Legends

Growing up as a Kid, there was a story of the lost souls on Bayou Sale Rd between Dulac and Cocodrie. Legend goes that it’s the Purgatory of the swamp. If you see a hitchhiker, chances are it’s a soul set to embark on the long walk that never ends through the gnats, gators and other demon animals of the night.

All the fiddler crabs are just the souls that have given up and left to fend for themselves. In the middle of Bayou Sale Rd, there is a cross that has been up for many years to help them guide their way to salvation. When I was in high school, Father Freddie Decal from Holy Family Catholic Church went to bless the road after hearing of the myth and placed the cross and wreath in that location. After, it was said he felt, “an uneasy feeling of guilt and despair came among him when he entered the first hard turn. Like he couldn’t look in his rear view mirror for it would be like looking into the soul of someone he couldn’t help.”

People speed on that road all the time and see the hitchhikers. When they look back, they are gone.

Sooooo, If they could do a round up of all the fig sags in St. Tammany, that would be great, mmmk.… oh oh! and I almost forgot ahh, also gonna need it done across the state. Sooooo, go ahead and do that too, kay.
