I think they contributed along with the crowding of bars, parties, beaches and other gatherings between Memorial Day and now.

It’s a virus. It spreads from contact with others that are infected

How is this hard to understand?

What about spikes in Lafayette and Lake Charles? I don't think they had massive protests there.

Antifa hotspots. Lots of people from those areas were bused to protests around the country by George Soros.

This is where I stand. The protests definitely helped the spike, but it wasn't the only cause.

On one hand conservatives say that the spike is just do to more testing, then on the other hand say it is because of the protest. Just shows how partisan shite is. Largely people who feel super strongly one way or the other about politics don’t care about the actual truth, or what could make things better, just want to push/parrot the narrative that fits at the time.

First off, who cares about a spike? Positive test results mean next to nothing.

At least in Louisiana the hot spots are the mostly rural areas around Lafayette, Lake Charles and Shreveport. At most there were small one day sidewalk marches in those towns. That does not account for the present community spread in these areas of the state.

Protests.... Areas like HSV had very small protest and are having huge spikes.

Age range from spikes is your younger people going to bars and being out its obvious.

Not saying that is bad, just saying the spike is coming after bars opened back, memorial day etc.

Not the only reason but there's no way they didn't contribute. Infuriating that officials won't just admit it, by pretending otherwise they do nothing but hurt their credibility and make people question everything they are saying around this.

Lake Charles and the surrounding areas were closed before the virus ever got a foothold. Everyone knew when areas like that reopened, there was going to be an influx in cases. I wasn’t surprised, I doubt many people were.
