..needs to be treated like Otto in Sons of Anarchy. California had a 50 percent rise in Covid hospitalizations two weeks after the riots.

More "protests" will be encouraged.

Also anyone that thinks that whatever homemade loincloth strapped over their face protects against infectious diseases should just be given a lobotomy.

That’s where you’re wrong, bigot. COVID-19 is a supporter of Black Lives Matter. You can’t catch it at a protest or riot showing your displeasure with Donald Drumpf. You CAN catch it stimulating the economy - going back to work, going to restaurants and bars, the beach, etc.

Why hadn’t there been spikes in Brooklyn or Minneapolis?

Just a bunch of imbeciles..They are out there that deny and are posting articles to back up their stupidity... I believe it was Newsweek that had an article the Monday after Trump's rally talking about the spike in Tulsa...Blaming the rally..2 freakin days later!

On one hand conservatives say that the spike is just do to more testing, then on the other hand say it is because of the protest. Just shows how partisan shite is. Largely people who feel super strongly one way or the other about politics don’t care about the actual truth, or what could make things better, just want to push/parrot the narrative that fits at the time.

this is what confuses me

I know the riots definitely contributed and saying they didn’t is ridiculous. But how the frick did these two places avoid it?

If I lived vicariously through a FX show and never left my small town I would feel the same way you do, OP

That’s just racist. Everyone knows you can’t have more than 6 people at your house but if 10,000 gather in the streets it won’t spread anything.

I hope I live long enough to see how this plays out. And I hope whoever the dumbasses are live just long enough to see they were wrong. Then they croak from COVID.

Both Minneapolis and Brooklyn had spikes more recent than places like Houston and New Orleans. Houston never had a spike until now. New Orleans last spike before now was nearly a month before Brooklyn's last high point.

I chose those two to compare because they are where I'm most familiar with. It's just an observation though, not like I did some scientific study.
