Stayed at the resort and enjoyed it.

Take a bus over to Sandals Grande, look on Google maps and you can see Pigeon Island National Park, you can hike up the mountain from the Beach at the Grande, awesome views, a couple of old forts at the top, and beautiful plants. Can see Martinique in the distance. At the bottom there is a neat food shack / bar to eat at. One of my favorite things we did on the trip.

So far I’m digging LIV… and I was very skeptical. If you have this format with the top guys and they are all able to play in the majors…. Going to really hurt the PGA

Great for the players, but question is is it great for viewers. I agree it’s a problem for the tour but some are acting like LIV is the greatest format for golf ever.

I see what you are saying, the whole Saudi issue is a separate argument that I don’t really care about, honestly I just don’t see the format being that watchable. People that want to stick it to the PGA get jaded over this.

Yeah, I don’t consider anyone in LIV a big loss for the PGA.

Now if you start getting JT, Scheffler, Rahm, types it’s going to get interesting. If they can play the majors and LIV idk why they wouldn’t go get a paycheck. LIV could fold and everyone goes back to PGA anyways, might as well try and cash out first.

That is what I was wondering as well, these younger guys who haven’t had much success are smart for jumping on early.

Memorial Day weekend was packed. Was slow all day, the foursome in front of me had just teed off on 8 and 0 shots were in the fairway, I didn’t mind waiting but could tell it was going to be a min, the group at the next hole had finished up so I just skipped.

Yeah they have to make an example out of DJ, otherwise you just look soft. And honestly do you think the PGA really cares? DJ is not a great ambassador for golf with the young crowd IMO. I don’t see him doing a lot to promote it, he sounds like a thumb when he talks and really just stays to himself. Nothing wrong with that. Kids these days are more interested in your JTs, Homas etc ones that are active on social media, doing kids events etc. I like DJ but not sure if it’s a big loss as people are making it out to be.

Can’t shed a tear at the Masters and act like you just play for $$.

I googled Andy Ogletree to see what he had been up to since his Masters appearance. Doesn’t seem like he has done much at all. I don’t blame him for trying to make something out of it
