Interesting to see this thread today. I got an email this morning from Credit Karma that my TransUnion score dropped from 772 to 701.. not really sure why the massive drop. I am at 60% utilization on a new credit card but that still seems like a large drop.. Equifax score was unchanged..

Credit Karmas online site scores suck and are inaccurate; but they have a good place that shows you how to up your score and which credit cards to get. They show the odds of you getting one.
The whole thing is a stupid game. I have known people with charge offs/bad debt and they borrow from Peter to pay Paul to borrow from Peter. IOW's a mortgage guy told me: get a credit card to pay your negative debt on your credit report.
Go here annualcreditreport.com It is free and legit.
And FICO.com is about on the money on what mortgage companies/car dealerships pull.

It's more than likely due to the high utilization. Pay it down and your score will rebound. Utilization has no memory like a negative item would.

Now that is just pure bragging.

818, per the Chase Credit Tracking site. Mortgage, auto loan, credit card balance that gets paid off almost every month. It's really not that hard at all.

Amex offers multiple revolver cards. They don't just deal in charge cards..
yes, one is a Blue card, which i also have. It's my card for depositing on Betonline. They are only ones who accept amex, and not hammering the Pay a end of month card, rather hammer the blue and get cash back.

720. I never had a credit card before 2012 so the average age of my accounts is killing me. I also went rate shopping last year for a refinance and bought a new vehicle so I've got some credit inquiries.
My wife's is some where in the mid 600s, and if I didn't pay her shite it wouldn't get paid. Ive had to get 3 accounts out of collections within a year for her.

Side note, how does your wife like the QX80? Mine has made the decision and wants me to get it this week, I don't love it

The only honest response so far...but again this is the OT where every wife is hot with a high credit score and each guy is close to a 800 score and of course makes over 150k/year. All responses being way above the average for this state except the fact they all drive a pickup truck...which is very average!

I'm almost at 640-650.
Those credit nazi's think they are more important than keeping your car running. I'll eventually pay them but when I'm damn good and ready.
