My credit score fluctuates like crazy because of my business. Usually Between 680-780. Depends on how many construction loans I have and how high the Amex card gets. I've never been at or above 800.

Mine fluctuates for no apparent reason. Usually in the low 800s. Always pay on time. Has dipped to the 790s and is now around 830.

Why? I do the same thing all the time, no new borrowing.

Incidentally, I have a few camera tickets I won't pay...no effect on my score at all, threatening letters from a collection place in Ohio notwithstanding.

788, goes up by a couple every few months, or has the past year. Hoping to hit 800 soon.

My wife is at the max - 850.

If asked, she couldn't even tell you where we bank at.

I'm at 7 fiddy because we don't use credit cards or have car notes. With out my mortgaged home and rental house, we would be in the gutter.

I took a 30-point hit for paying off an installment loan on time. Stupid on so many levels:

- Apparently paying your bills on time makes you a credick risk

- Overall debt decreased, and it shouldn't be a utilization ratio since it wasn't revolving credit

- Average age of credit went up since the loan was the newest
