They should do it this year since LSU is only gonna win like 2 games

I hope they don't leave any PVC pipes exposed.

Seeing as how ascension parish is booming with a massive influx of white folks and economic value, it would be a decent move

Is the stadium really sinking, and have studies been done on it? Serious question from someone who doesn't really know.

There was a feasibility study done while Joe Dean was AD about building a new stadium off River Road.
I don't doubt it. It doesn't seem like they did much maintenance or upgrades to the stadium in the 80's into the early 90's. They probably wanted to know if they should put a lot of money into the stadium or build a new one.

Would be badass to play in a stadium sinking into the ground.
I just trademarked “the tiger pit”, before anybody steals my idea.

Do you think if the stadium was sinking, that all the new pretty additions would have been added on? If it were an issue at all, this information would have come out a few years back.

If true you think they just arbitrarily chose 30 miles without any kind of study? SMH

ould make more sense to just play a couple of years in the dome and tear down and rebuild the current place.

They aren't changing TS. The current admin is taking a serious look at the PMAC. I imagine we are 1 year away from an announcement on if the PMAC will be renovated or a new one will be built.
Funding will be the #1 driver of this choice. New facility is the preferred option

I'm glad this is the side of the stadium I see when going to the games...it's as classic as it gets.

I heard there will be a toll booth.

Eventually - maybe in 20-30 years - the bowl is going to need a massive renovation.
Everything heavy in South Louisiana is sinking.
In 20-30 years, construction technology will be even better than it is today. Don't the uppers just basically sit over the bowl? They should be able to take out and rebuild the bowl without touching the uppers, however, that may be a 2-3 year project. Might have to play elsewhere for one season or so.
