Anyone else hear the rumor about Tiger Stadium being moved down highway 30 in 20-30 years?

I heard Matt Moscona say that a guy he was talking to told him they have a study that every year Tiger Stadium is sinking. They are making plans to build a new Tiger Stadium down highway 30 where they have a lot of land. I think that is stupid because I’m sure whatever land down highway 30 will have the same problem being by the river. That would be weird going to LSU football games at an off campus location.
Oh in inbeforeladymoscona

That's gonna take one hell of an 18 wheeler. It'll hold up traffic for a while.

That would be a travesty. TS is one of the coolest venues in American sports.

Would make more sense to just play a couple of years in the dome and tear down and rebuild the current place.

It seems unlikely. We've spent a ton on renovations in the past decade.

This is true. It will happen right after the Baton Rouge loop is constructed.

Obviously, the Tiger Stadium project will require at least 75-80 "studies".

Yep. Just bring in some dirt to raise the field and then add another couple of rows on top...
