There was a screaming preacher there from time to time that always drew a decent crowd and some hecklers.

I remember a few short years ago how someone threated to burn the flag on campus...but that didn't go as planned... now wondering if things would go different?

Yep I was on campus then. It was wild to just walk by and see Duke standing there on the bench talking.

I remember some jackass screaming "you're going to hell" at everyone. I used to avoid the front of the union as much as possible.

The thing is, that was the main thing people were able to point to when he was running for office, specifically governor (where he was spouting somewhat mainstream proposals) and be able to say, no really, this guy is a fricking lunatic, vote for the crookedest man ever instead.
It's why I can't, for the life of me, understand why people want such stuff completely silenced.
