So they didn't kill any officers or actually break in? If your people would have acted the same we wouldn't be talking about it.

It's not the same thing. If you think it is then you need some re-education.

My question is why are locals on those overpasses if they know there will be black ice on them. It's so predicatable.
Like I said earlier, even though we got freezing rain the highways were fine except for that one spot. So while you may have been cautious at the start of your drive when you realized there was no ice, you speed up and then boom.
Yes. A friend with an 11 year old just bought him a cassette boom box. The kid is collecting old cassettes just like his classmates. Vinyl coming back I understood but cassettes? But I still have a bunch I recorded off vinyl back the the 80s.

Here is the thing about today in DFW, there was freezing rain but everything was melting on contact so you cautiously go over a few elevated sections and no ice so you stop being cautious and then boom, one section has ice and you're screwed. It wasn't like there was ice everywhere and you just kept going fast.
Gundy is correct. It's like a great song that gets played too much on the radio and you start getting tired of it.

When will the first "girl" do this? Or has that happened already?
Current women's WR is 4:12 which is damn fast but still a ways from sub 4. HS girls won't get there for a long, long time. Of course this assumes a girl is running, if it's a trans person then it may be broken tomorrow.
All that stuff you listed should be fine. You may get some freeze burn on leaves but that's not a big deal. It's more important to protect the roots so adding a 2" thick layer of mulch helps. If leaf burn bothers you, try to find plant freeze cloth which is better than plastic.

Gotcha. Have fun!
Have you seen the weather forecast? It's going to be 12 degrees at big bend on Sunday night. I'm sure GC and Zion will be colder.

re: Who still wears masks?
Posted by lazy on 2/10/21 at 5:38 pm to Tigers1984
I have seen maybe 2 or 3 people not wearing a mask in stores this entire 11 months. It was 30 for the high today and I wore mine just to keep warm.
There is somebody that posts here that lives and is maybe retired in alpine. Only bad thing is the closest hospital is in midland.
re: Best grass for large area

Do you want lawn grass on the entire 3 acres? If so then like other say, Bermuda. You will need to wait until the weather warms up to seed it.
Oh no, it will probably mean the end of his career.

Suspended 4 months
this is his first suspension since he joined in 2009
He is truly not sure what he did to be suspended
Never been suspended
He promises to be extra careful and not violate any board rules.
The intern team is the best in the business. I'm surprised other platforms have not raided the admin and intern talent this board has.

Standard for most any decent size development these days. It's been going on in DFW for at least 30 years.

I haven't seen it mentioned so for those that aren't aware, you can walk down main street with an open container of beer or wine or straight liquor, no mixed drinks which is strange.

They've increased testing and are actually going door to door in some areas. The decrease is because of the lockdown.

you're not really off-roading to get to the ranger station. Its just a really long wash-boarded dirt road. A sedan can do it (
Gotcha. The guy I talked to at chinati hot springs said it wasn't as steep as pinto canyon road but he didn't go into much detail. He said the area around the ranger station was nice and very remote.

could we drive all these roads in a small rental rv?
Except for pinto canyon Rd to chinati hot springs. If you still want to go to the hot springs you can come at it from the Ruidosa end. It's a gravel Rd but we'll maintained and no steep grades. Get reservations at the Hot Springs as they only have about 8 rooms and don't allow day use.
Marfa is not for people that don't like art. But most everything is shut down right now so unless you just want to use it as a base for day trips to the Nat. Park, State Park, etc, it's not the best time to go.
Another great off road drive I just heard about on my last trip out there but haven't done yet is the 27 mile off road drive to Sauceda Ranger Station in the state park. You can spend the night at the station.
I make my own stock. I always make seafood gumbo so put the shrimp shells in a pot with water and whatever small amount of trinity veggies I have leftover. Lately I've added some dehydrated shrimp in there too.
Walked around the field house pulling cards and giving my SSN to anyone and everyone. I think my SSN was printed on my schedule.
