Serious answer, I was and still am afraid to fly. However, after some drugs and online courses I am a lot better. Probably fly 20 times a year for work now
Search for real of flying courses online. There are a few free and paid ones. Should be nothing you don't know but good to walk through it all.
Also medication and a drink or two is fine, I use it most every flight.
Just don't get slammed :)
Good luck!

I used to be terrified. Now, I generally just take a Benadryl and sleep through the experience.
It's much safer than driving.

I'm deathly afraid
This is all you needed to say. Figure out why you're afraid of death and flying will be a breeze.
Notice I didn't say fun because modern commercial sucks major arse.

Google for gifs of planes crashing. That will help you get over it.

This is so weird to me as flying is just part of my weekly routine. I could not fathom being scared of it.
Advice? Try and relax, have a drink or two, and understand flying is the safest, most regulated way of traveling.

You'll be alright for most people when they actually do it once the fear goes away. I say grab a drink or two before you board and you just gotta get on.

Just tell yourself that it's irrational to fear anything more than driving a car. The most dangerous thing you will do in your life is get into a car and you do it willingly every day

I'm about to hop on for 8+ hours at 35,000 feet. I always figure that if it turns to shite, at least it happens quickly.
I did get a little scared on a flight once with severe turbulence. I crushed the arm rest holding on.
When it was over, I knew it had been bad when the gay male flight attendant turned around, looked at us, and shouted (in stereotypical gay male voice), "Holy Crap!!"

Flying is easy...it's the fear of dying that you need to get over, but remember, you have a much greater chance of dying going to and from the airport then you do of going from airport to airport

Learn to not be afraid. It's easier said than done and I feel for you, but fly, fly, fly.

Just remember the plane is more afraid of you, then you are of it.

Dogs. Some Airports have therapy dog programs to help

If you're a smoker then you know how much you need. If not, two good hits and a double shot of vodka or whiskey.
If someone who is "not a smoker" were to take 2 hits and 2 shots of liquor in a crowded airport they'd probably either be paranoid as hell or have the spins pretty bad.
I would not recommend this if you aren't used to the feeling.

This is how many planes are in in the air at this exact moment. None of them will crash. You'll be fine.

I went through a spat growing up where I felt "deathly afraid" to fly. There is just something about the whole process that is unsettling. My uncle pointed out something that made a lot of sense. No one is really afraid of flying, they are just afraid of dying.
To this day I'm still a nervous flyer and even dwell on upcoming flights for weeks leading up to it.
My whole frame of mind though is that if you want to see cool places in this world, then the best way to get there is through the air. Just down a little liquid courage before your flight, and watch a movie or listen to music in the air to help distract you.
