Was just there in daylight and it was scary, but okay.

You will get some flack for saying that but I agree 100%

I live in one of the last decent places in the state, and I still can't wait to leave. My kids are in high school and we are pretty much forcing them to go out of state for college and we plan on leaving when they do.

I have become very jaded to the politics, taxes, insurance of our state. Horrible roads, no business growth, and the most well known people are fricking ambulance chasing lawyers that most of the population is to dumb too understand that they are the ones responsible for the ridiculous insurance rates. Not to mention all of the "people that annoy you" taking over every major city.

Each time we take a vacation and come back home there is a sense of "why do we live here." And it seems to get stronger as I get older

New Orleans is the worst part of the state

It’s too bad global warming isn’t real. Al gore promised that New Orleans would be covered by the gulf of America by now

The random violence, particularly involving tourists, is a pretty big deal man

Oh I'm sure the family of the guy who just lost his life takes great comfort in that.

New Orleans is gross, easily the shittiest major city.

Seattle and SF are really, really bad.

I haven’t been out in LA post Covid but it sounds like it’s not far behind.

Places like Chicago and NYC were pretty clean and safe in the tourist areas last time I was up, but the west coast and DC pre-Trump were collapsing.

Bullshite. I live Uptown in the box. There is close to zero crime here. And what there is consists of petty property stuff.

Now the Uptowners are a bunch of hysterical pussies. I remember when some black kid rode through on a busted up Schwinn and a BB gun. Within minutes, Uptown Messenger was warning of a Militant Black Muslim on a Harley with a machine gun. I shite you not.

Easiest way to reduce the crime problem is to stop reporting the crime.

But when innocent tourists die it's impossible to sweep that under the rug.

It boggles my mind that Democrat mayors would rather let the rampant crime and slaughter continue in their streets than admit Orange Man Bad is right and accept his help in the form of National Guard troops.

After watching that crowder video, black people don’t believe black people are committing crimes or killing white people.

Latoya will never recognize that the only way to stop that is to be heavy handed.

Gotta have proactive policing if keeping guns off the streets is the goal

I don’t give a shite if these guys want to kill each other in the east.

I do give a shite when crime starts spreading to the quarter, CBD, uptown.

That’s unacceptable and if the national guard is what needs to stop it, so be it.

California is sweeping the floor and pushing out the vagrants. shite, a year ago I was in the Tenderloin alone at night walking around smoking a joint, tons of junkies, but all just in a daze. The few times I have been out this year, you hardly see any them.

It’s hardly a major city

It punches far above its weight class. Some international draw, enormous history, unique aesthetics. Place is an abject failure.

Mandeville
Covington
St. Francisville
Ruston
Lafayette

All places you can live a Greta life, send your kids to school, and be surrounded by good people

Totally not redeemable though because you can’t get shite faced in public, catch plastic beads, and have a few more good restaurants

Nola people are absolutely idiotic
