I like it. Tastes like bourbon, with a hint of 7up. I don't need my drink to enrich my life experience. The taste of a decent to good bourbon is all the enrichment I need.

And yes, top sellers tend to mean that they’re good in their category

I do not believe this to be true, but I digress. Although I notice the qualifier "In their category".

Their category is beer, and they dominate it

As millenials enter their 30s, they are realizing that beer does this:

Not anymore. Last year, for the first time, Americans reaching for a drink more often chose whiskey.

It's been interesting to see some of the effects of the big beer co's buying up the smaller craft breweries

it has nothing to do with mean ole corporations. Craft beer is a fad. Like all fads, it is ending.

Link? Do you really think people will switch back from locally made beer to Bud Light, Miller, etc?

Is this what it is this week? Craft beer was the devil to shitty beer, now it’s wine and cocktails???

Yeah, I'm confused. Last article about this said craft beer is the biggest it has ever been. Now, it is dying?

I order beer more often than anything else, with wine a close second. I love a really good cocktail at a place that has interesting ones, but I always go back to beer.

My brother is big on the old fashioned, just get a fricking whiskey sprite. So much better and easier to make.

Beer bars and breweries have never been more popular. It's way easier/smarter to meet during the week with friends over a few beers rather than pounding liquor.

Those with kids are far more likely to go to a brewery on the weekend as well. Couldn't really bring your kid to a dimly lit bar back in the day.

I’ve never been a big beer drinker. Just makes me feel uncomfortably bloated.

Personally I love trying all the different cocktails(especially margaritas....real ones not some shitty one you get from a mix in a bottle at a cheesy sports bar). I don’t drink to get wasted drunk so I want something that tastes good.

I like beer more than bourbon, and I typically just go for whiskey sprite if I’m drinking bourbon. Don’t see the big deal about not liking old fashioneds.

If it’s higher end bourbon I’ll just drink it neat.

The biggest threat to beer is hipsters. They demand bizarre beers. All these IPAs. You go to a beer bar and damn near half selection are IPA.

Ppl are missing out on Amber's and Wheats, kolsch, Porter's etc.
