So shitty that it’s the #1 selling alcoholic beverage in the world, hipster.

NYC sucked. I ordered Miller Lite everywhere, and only a few places had it. So then I would go to jack and coke, and some of them didn’t even have jack.
Most places in NYC Jack is well, or not on the menu. A lot of bars have either Bulleit or Buffalo Trace as their go to whiskey.

What kind of fricking drinking establishment doesn’t have jack?
The kind that OT poors cant afford?

Can't we all just drink River Rosè? Best of both worlds

Huh?

I've never seen it for $9. But $8 for a 16 oz. It's also bouble the alcohol by volume than a lot of the $4.50-$5.50 beers.
It's a better deal.

I've got no hate for IPA and flavored beers. Just they are too damn abundant.

That's a pretty stupid take considering breweries and bars have pretty much all of what you listed.

Just having a little fun with you man.
I like whiskey sprite on gamedays
A well made old fashioned just resonates with me. It took me forever to actually taste a good one, but now it's my go-to cocktail for special occasions
I don't bring them to tailgates or order them at the Florabama

Couldn't believe it when I saw it for 9 bucks in Lafayette this weekend
We have it for 6 in Hattiesburg

Any other Jack and water drinkers in here?

who has a bigger home selection of "bitters" for making mixed drinks than he has beers in the fridge.
yeah, this would be me. I have 12 types of bitters, I probably only have 4 types of beer in my fridge.
I also make my own liquers. I am making homemade jaegermister and st. germain right now. Made vermouth last week.
I also have 6 types of simply syrup in the fridge. I really like craft cocktails.
Strangely I normally order beer when I go to a bar though.

My thing with really any liquor is it tends to hit me like a ton of bricks. So I try to stay away from it unless I’m only having a drink or two.

I don't think that's something to brag about, you fricking drunk.
Posted on 8/1/18 at 12:17 pm to TigerFanInSouthland
We're on the same page there. At least with beer I just get full before I get blackout drunk
Posted on 8/1/18 at 12:23 pm to AA77
Don’t frick with with my beer or my guns.
Posted on 8/1/18 at 12:34 pm to TigerFred
I like my local craft beers. But, most of the time, I'd rather go pick up a 6 pack for the price of what I'd pay for 1 1/2 of the same beers at a local restaurant or bar.

hanks $6 a glass pubs.
and that's for garbage beers like Stella Artois. I should say, I don't mind Stella but $6/pint is outrageous.

I love bourbon, much more than beer, but I only drink beer when we go out because liquor markup is so much more than beer, and I have a better liquor selection at home. I’d much rather pay $4 for a miller lite than $9 for a glass of bulleit.
