My big issue has been condensation on my ducts.

Was researching water dripping from one of my supply vents that’s nearest the patio door. Gonna caulk around where the ceiling meets the box and cross my fingers but this video addresses what you are talking about. Also addresses the dangers that can come from making the attic cooler like the OP is doing.

And costs? What kind of budget are we looking at to spray foam an attic for 3000 sq ft (avg) and install exhaust fans???

You don’t need exhaust fans if you have spray foam.

For attic only for 3000 feet, you are looking at around $6000.

I just had 3800 sq feet done for $6800.

We have a ridge vent, but I think we need a couple more sofit vents (or I may need to check the current ones to see if there is any blockage).

When it froze last year and snow was everywhere, you could tell who had attic insulation and who didn’t

All the roofs with terrible insulation had very little snow on them

You risk trapping the moisture if you caulk and causing mold. Have an old house with the same issue.
Got a heavy duty dehumidifier that sits in the hallway by the intake and runs around the clock.

With the dew point being what it is every day and not having the best insulation or sealed house it’s been a life saver
