My wife and I actually opened a business in the River District during this time. The Downtown Development Authority and its director, Liz Swaine, are so crooked that even 50 wants out of the deal now.
The strip of buildings is partly owned by the city, partly by the casinos, and managed by the DDA, so you can't get anything repaired because everyone just points fingers.
We were promised we would get running water for 9 months before we finally just gave up. You can't run a food establishment legally without it. They didn't care because they owned the health department and could still get you a permit. We just weren't comfortable with it, so we gave it up. :violin:

The pin set is cool. I like the box, but I would actually use the polo. It has the 60-year logo, and it isn't available to non-STH, so it feels "kinda" special.
Did anyone else notice the iced-out lion brooch with emerald eyes? That thing is at least $10k and probably $30k if it is VCA, like I think it is.

Count us in! My adult son and I are flying up Saturday and back on Tuesday. We have never been to the area, but we were thinking Niagara Falls and maybe a day trip to Toronto on Monday. Do you think there will be a Saints tailgate up there?

Yeah, I actually saw that the Jays were playing and thought that would be super cool too. We do a thing every year where we travel to see new stadiums. So that would be a 2 for 1.

So I downloaded this app about a month ago when one of my coworkers showed it to me. I immediately saw how someone's life could be upended over rumors. It is mostly about penis size and bedroom performance. However, I saw too many examples of people saying how they are sleeping with this married man or that one. It may be true or not, but some people's lives are going to be ruined for sure.

You have to use an image hosting site. I like postimages.org because it is free and easy to use. Copy the picture, upload it to the site, and they give several options of how to post it.
