you'd be surprised what people will do when it starts hitting their bottom line, but as it stands from what we've seen so far you appear to be correct. I guess they've decide to hope the bad press will go away. But as someone who lives in the area they are deluding themselves.

My apologies if someone posted this, but I saw somewhere a few days back that ‘The Shed’ was having a fundraiser tonight. Is that true and if so what time does it begin?

Can it be asked "What city has suffered more because of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans or Baton Rouge?
With ongoing crimes such as this senseless murder, Baton Rouge certainly makes a case now

Seriously doubt this is what happened but I can believe them selling this load of shite to the girls on campus to try and pretend they are doing something about it.
Rumors on campus went crazy during the Derrick Todd Lee saga too. When people are scared and there's no real explanation coming from the people who should be protecting them, this gossip train urban legend shite happens.

DTL, there was all kinds of rumors on LSU campus, people thought it was a LSU employee

Just rode by St. John church. Prayers for Allie and her family. WBRZ has a crew out there right now.

Because you’re full of shite.

Does Baton Rouge even have any gangs that would do something like this?
Most likely they just told all the girls to not have anything that makes it known your in a sorority late at night when you're by yourself since they don't know what happened yet which is probably good in general
People targeting sorority girls has always had rumors going around

Clay Travis and Buck Sexton just mentioned the shooting and it sounds like they’re about to talk a little bit more about it with a guest.

I promise you the people responsible lack the intelligence to even recognize Greek letters. I bet they barely grasp English.

Still doesn't answer the question.
You think the fact that I know 20 LSU grads who have sent their kids elsewhere because of how shitty Baton Rouge is, is hard to believe? It's probably way more, as I just did a quick calculation.
Read the room, buddy. People are fed up, and have been for years.

I mean, there are gangs here, yeah. BRPD and the Mayor don't want you to know that, so when there are gang shootings, they use the word 'groups' instead of 'gangs' in press conferences. Or they emphasize these were rappers.
The shootout/murders in front of the mall on Bluebonnet were the most obvious ones, but there were a lot leading up to that where cars on Siegen or Government or I-10 were shooting at each other, drive bys in NBR, murders at the fricking IHOP, etc.

So back in the 70's or 80's New York city citizens started the Guardian Angels. Has anyone in BR thought about organizing something like this? Talking about whom to vote for is a good conversation but you need feet on the ground immediately. Take back the streets don't wait for political action to fix it.

It's relevant just answer the question.
