Some groups are able to get by on merit.

Other groups require quota's.

GM gonna get cancelled. No blacks in either of its commercials.

The fact both were for EV's will probably not offset the outrage.

I’m just so fricking sick and tired of these jive arse race grifters and woker Than thou low key racist white apologists acting like calling out shite behaviour is wrong because the motherfricker doing it is a different hue.

You think people don’t like the carjackers, the subway attackers, the killers and burglars and thieves, catalytic converter stealing, fentanyl dealing, no respect having pieces of shite only when they are BLACK?

It’s the fricking actions! Not the color!

No one rushes to defend people that do this shite when they are whiter than Oreo filling. We don’t ignore the pieces of shite when they don’t meet our melanin standard.

That’s the media’s job.

It’s about what you do. Period. Full stop.

We should all see the world like a blind man.

I don't understand how you could be so heartless knowing that some black folk's skin tone appears too dark in photos to be distinguishable.

You would think the country is 50% black based on watching the Super Bowl tonight.

YouTube a Disney world commercial from the 1980’s. And see what you find.

Fun fact. Globally white people are far far and away the minority.

It’s all deliberate.

I’ll lose sleep about that when Google explains why it thinks they are gorillas.

Let’s break this down.

quote:

Black people

What’s a “Black people”? I’ve known a lot of different people in my time, of all sorts, and for the life of me I can’t think of one who actually hated someone because of the color of their skin.
Now, I don’t mean to say that I’ve never known people to look at someone and make a judgement call based on a certain racial factor.
Hell, I was one of them, once.
Until, by twists of fate, I was amongst those who hue I did not share, as an ofay, outsider, honkie. A cracker amongst brothers blacker. And it was then I learned that the bonds that join us can be stronger than the ones that tear us apart, if we are but willing to find that common ground.

When men work, they have purpose. To make a wage, support a family, better themselves. Through shared toil we can realize that although we may be born from different lands, we all bleed the same. We all eat. And when you break bread with men as equals, you can begin to tear down the walls between us. This common theme rang true in my travels, regardless of the race or creed. Though an odd man out, I found that what binds men together is work and purpose.

And I came to realize that it isn’t color which fuels hate. That’s a lie sown by those who seek to divide us. It’s merely ready fuel. What is at the root is resentment. Men that work and toil are bothered by those that don’t and yet enjoy the fruit.

It’s the fable of the grasshopper and the ants. The ant doesn’t hate the grasshopper because he’s a grasshopper. He hates the grasshopper because he labors while the grasshopper plays. If the grasshopper toiled alongside the ant, he would come to despise the carefree grasshopper as well.

I’m rambling. Let me be concise.

It’s not the hopper the ant hates,
It’s no work and all play,
It’s when the other cares for naught,
When he must toil all day,
For what’s the point of toiling,
And slaving to provide,
It’s not the hopper the ant hates,
It’s those that get free rides.

People aren’t triggered by race. They are bothered by behavior. And further bothered when they are castigated for speaking about the discrepancies.

That's what I'm wondering. It's gotta be a mistake by some admin hitting a wrong button. No way does this thread deserve a sticky

I don’t even know I’m just stirring shite. This whole thread is stupid. Angry over race on a commercial is comical
