They are a 11-1 playoff team that may or may not have a coaching staff

And they won’t make it out the first round, so who cares.

How many quality wins did Orgeron have before coaching LSU?

And how’d that hire work out? Oh yeah we fired him.

This has actually played out really well for Lane’s reputation. The guy has pretty obviously been trying to do things the right way this entire process.

Agreed. He’s trying to ride with his boys until the end. Ole Miss AD are the ones looking like fools here.

Win at OU wasn't a quality win???

That’s the one I’m referring to. It’s a quality win yes but after tonight it looks less Iike it. They haven’t played a tough schedule and they survived Washington St. by a field goal.

All I’m saying is I don’t think Kiffin is the slam dunk coaching Jesus everyone is making him out to be. I HOPE he dominates at LSU but I’m on the fence about the reality of that happening

I don’t care if I’m right or wrong. I have my doubts about Kiffin based purely on his teams’ performances. I’m hopeful LSU is the school he needed with the right fit and resources. But thinking Kiffin is going to win us multiple nattys based purely on his coaching resume is asinine.

Ole Piss has ONE quality win

and it’s by 8 against the team LSU almost beat tonight using the worst offense since the 2012 Natty. Last year they lost to unranked Kentucky, unranked LSU, and unranked Florida. Those of you drooling over Kiffin are in for a rude awakening.

Sounds like, uhh baseball to me. Your kid sucked as a freshman and he still sucks as a senior, I don't care how hard he works at practice if he can't catch a ball and hit one 450' dead center, sit down for someone who can.

How are some of you parents?

Well you see, when a boy meets a girl, there’s this thing they do that involves the pee pee in the vagee gee and out comes a lil wee wee.

Why not? The drive?

Kind of the drive. Also the open access to tons of alcohol. Crazies all over campus. He’s not very familiar with campus, parking, BTR in general. Cell service sucks and he’ll likely be an hour away from any adult he knows.

Parents of the Rant - Gameday question

Posted by loopback on 7/19/25 at 11:00 am
My son (17 in December) is wanting to go to the Arky game this year with JUST him and another couple of friends, all of whom are juniors in HS. He is very responsible and capable of managing his life, makes good grades, never in trouble, plays sports, has a job, etc, BUT gameday is an entirely different beast and we live an hour away from BTR.

As parents would you allow him to go without an adult, just him and a couple friends? My first instinct is absolutely not, but I just want to confirm I’m not being overly cautious. They would drive there day of and be back that night. No tailgating.
Too many pitches up in the zone called balls.

He’s purely a fastball hitter. Can’t see off speed.

I would never throw Jones a heater. Ever.
